I used to wear Every. Single. Hat. in my short-term rental business. Frantically texting maintenance guys during date night, driving to Airbnbs at midnight to let them in if they got locked out, taking over laundry…if it needed doing, it was landing on my already overflowing plate.
I was basically running a one-person circus that NEVER stopped performing. When I finally hit my breaking point, I did what every desperate entrepreneur does: I threw money at the problem.
Fifteen thousand dollars later (yes, $15,000), I found myself in a mastermind where the brilliant advice was to "build systems."
What they didn't bother explaining was HOW to build systems or what the heck that even meant in real life. Gee, thanks. Super helpful. 🙄
Fifteen grand short, I was still drowning in the same chaos and slowly losing my mind in the process. This is when I knew that I had NO CHOICE but to figure it out. So, that’s exactly what I did!
That breaking point forced me to stop being the entire business and start building an actual company. I became obsessed with creating systems that could run without me constantly putting out fires and hiring people who could solve problems, not create new ones.
It wasn’t easy, but the transformation was honestly incredible. I went from panic-checking my phone every five minutes to confidently putting it on silent during family movie nights.
My business started generating a full-time income on a part-time schedule while *I* focused on what truly matters: being a present mom to my two boys while they’re still little.
I take actual weekends off, schedule meetings around nap times, and NEVER have to choose between a client emergency and my kids’ bedtime story.
It turns out, I’m freakishly good at making businesses run like well-oiled machines. So now I help vacation rental companies, service providers, and other growing businesses in the STR space do exactly what I did:
Ditch the chaos, build systems that work, and finally step into the visionary role you’re MEANT to have.
Because nobody should have to sacrifice their sanity (or their family time) to run a profitable business. You CAN have your cake and eat it too.
I don’t yell at you to “fix your systems.” I actually DO IT for you.
I'm not handing you a generic template and wishing you luck figuring it out on your own. That HAS happened to me, and it sucks.
I & my team get in the trenches WITH you. We build the SOPs, hire and train your VAs, create the workflows that make sense for YOUR specific chaos, and make sure your team knows exactly what to do when things go sideways (because they will).
This isn't theory for me. I live this stuff every single day. I run my own property management company and manage a team, and still have time to go to the playground with my boys in the afternoon.
I'm not some consultant who reads about systems in a book. I'm a mom and entrepreneur who figured out how to make it ALL work without losing my mind.
But I don’t do it alone, and neither should you.
I love talking about systems and operations almost as much as I love a Friday night movie marathon with my family. You can catch me on these podcasts sharing tips on how to build a business that works FOR you, not against you.
I'm spunky, sassy, and a natural leader who will tell you exactly how it is (with love, of course). I don't sugarcoat things because I know you don’t have time for business advice that doesn't actually work.
No alarms. My kids slept in (miracle). I’m in a comfy outfit with no real plans except brunch. Oh, and my phone is blissfully silent.
Business coaches who tell you to "just delegate" without actually showing you HOW to build a team that doesn't need you for every single decision.
"A rising tide raises all ships" and "people dumber than me have done this before, so I can do it, too.” We’re ALL figuring it out together. When you do good and lift others, they rise up, too. As a leader and as a person, this is something I think about often.
The one where emergencies don't ruin family dinners, and where you actually feel like the Visionary instead of an underpaid, stressed-out manager?
That life is totally achievable with the right systems in place.
You don't have to keep choosing between a profitable business and actually enjoying your time on this Earth. You CAN have both, but only if you stop accepting chaos as your normal.
