Why I built SimplyVA
I didn't set out to build a VA agency.
I set out to build a business I could grow while raising my kids. And then that business consumed me, and pulled me away from the very thing I wanted more time with.
Somewhere in the mix, I hired my first VA, and then another, and another, and I finally understood what I'd been missing. It wasn't just the help, or more time with my family (although that was huge!). It was having people who were genuinely on my team. People who knew my business, my standards and my voice, and who showed up every day because they wanted to be there.
When I looked at VA agencies, I kept running into the same thing. The VA who worked for me didn't belong to me. The agency managed the relationship, paid them on my behalf (who knew what they were actually getting?), and could swap my VA out without warning, right when we'd finally found our groove. So I built SimplyVA around two things:
OwnershipYour VA is your employee. You set the rate, you give the raises, you build the relationship. Nobody stands in between.
The VAI've watched VAs change their families' lives. They deserve a stable income, a community that gets what they do, and a leader who believes in them.
Operators deserve a real team. And VAs deserve a real home. We built it because we needed it, and then we realized, so did everyone else.
