Been there. We know the struggle
My Airbnb hosting journey started unexpectedly when an out-of-state family member purchased a property in my city for their visits. They asked me to manage it as a short-term rental, and I dove in head first soaking up everything I could about hosting.
That first property was so successful that my family couldn’t even use it! Inspired by that momentum, they bought more properties, and soon word spread. Local homeowners began reaching out for my help with their own properties. What started as a single project turned into a thriving business. Within two years, I scaled from managing just 1 property to over 75 and launched three co-hosting companies. This journey led to the creation of SimplyStay, my fully owned Airbnb management company and my Podcast Hello and Welcome.
Like many hosts, as my company grew, I faced the reality of burnout. The 24/7 demands of hosting left me feeling tethered to my phone and disconnected from what truly mattered. From that experience, the Operations Playbook was born—a comprehensive guide packed with all the systems and tools that worked for me. It’s designed to help hosts and business owners built business and reclaim their time. As I have built my cohosting business, and learned so may things, work to focus much of time time on teaching and educating other hosts on this part of the business now.
